Our rehabilitators dedicate considerable time and energy to care for
injured and orphaned wildlife, and our goal is to pay 100% of their
costs. We strive to keep administrative and other costs to a minimum so
we can focus our financial support on animal care. Wildlife
rehabilitation is not a hobby; it is a commitment.
Cash Donations
Please mail checks or money orders made out to LSWR to the
address below. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax
deductible. To donate online, use the Justgive.org or PayPal.com
buttons. Alternatively, if your bank offers online bill pay, you can use
that to send a donation.
Ten-Dollar-A-Month Club
For less than the price of a week of lattes, you can make the difference
between life and death for a wild animal. Your recurring donation keeps
us going strong! Use the button below to subscribe to the
Ten-Dollar-A-Month Club.
Grocery Shopping
Link your Kroger Plus Card to LSWR, and each time you shop, Kroger will
donate a portion of the sale to us at no cost to you! To link your card,
give this letter to the cashier to scan (PDF reader required to view),
and you'll be enrolled in the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation
Program for the year. If you don't have a Kroger Plus Card, it's free
and easy to sign up for one—see Kroger Customer Service for help.
The current Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program is effective May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009, and you'll need to re-enroll (re-link to LSWR) each year. The Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program replaces the Kroger Share Card Program.
Internet Searching
Every time you search the internet at
GoodSearch.com, you can help support LSWR. GoodSearch.com is powered
by Yahoo! so you can get the same high-quality search results that
you're currently used to—or better! For more information, visit the
GoodSearch About Us/FAQ page.
Printer Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling
Give your used printer cartridges and cell phones to LSWR, and we will
turn them in to a fundraising recycling program to earn money. Ask your
family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to pitch in, and check with
your employer and local businesses. The more we can gather, the more
wildlife we can help! Both inkjet and laser printer cartridges are
accepted.
For more information or to arrange a pick-up of your items, please contact Bonnie Gulas-Wroblewski at recycle@lonestarwildlife.org.
